Entertaining

I appreciated this word search activity book. It’s large print, which really helps my aging eyes, and the check boxes next to each word helped to keep my searching organized. Also, there are 88 puzzles and 21 words in each puzzle, along with the solutions at the end of the book. Unlike other wordsearches I’ve done, though, each of the puzzles aren’t specifically thematic, for each is made up of random, Thanksgiving-related words. For instance, one puzzle includes these normally unrelated words: cakes, nurture, and survive. Overall, this is a basic word search activity book that will provide hours of word-searching entertainment.

This is my new mental workload. I get a double benefit and a powerful boost to my vocabulary. By dedicating just 30 minutes a week to this, new words are integrated into my active speech, reducing screen time.
