A nice selection for the people who likes Christian biblical short stories.

Told from Bartimaeus’s point of view, the story brings to the surface the confidence and courage it takes to cry out for mercy, even when life feels heavy—full of shame, silence, and spiritual struggle. Really neat perspective on Jesus

What a beautiful reminder of God’s mercy. This short story really brought the scriptures to life for me. I loved learning more about the legacy of King David through this creative lens. The companion workbook is awesome for diving a bit deeper into your thoughts. It is a great book to share with friends or use in a church book club.

Fun Read

I enjoyed this book. It was the story of David from the Bible and there were some things about the story that I hadn't realized before so I was grateful to be able to read them. I liked the concept of the different angels waiting for David to make a mistake so they could get him in trouble. I think that is probably the way it is for us too. The book also explained about the war in heaven before we came down here.
